Description

1909-S VDB Cent, MS65 Red
Satiny Original Luster

1909-S 1C VDB MS65 Red PCGS. A sharp Gem example of the Lincoln cent key, this coin displays satiny luster and is free of bothersome spotting. Although designated Red, the attractive surfaces more accurately show yellow-gold, brass, mint-green, and autumn-orange coloration, with the hues slightly brighter on the obverse than the reverse. An eye-appealing example of this sought-after issue. Housed in a green label holder.(Registry values: N1793)
