1858/7 1C Large Letters, Snow-1, FS-301, AU58 PCGS. CAC. High Leaves, Closed E in ONE. This is the popular Guide Book variety. The prominent serif of a 7 is visible in the field at the top right of the final 8 in the date. A Large Letters variety, the AM in AMERICA are joined at their bases. This near-Mint coin displays satiny olive-gold and tan surfaces with good eye appeal. The usual strike weakness affects the eagle's tailfeathers and the upper right portion of the reverse wreath.
