1857 3CS MS65+ NGC. CAC. Despite the substantial mintage of
more than 1 million pieces, the 1857 three cent silver piece is an
elusive issue in MS65 condition and finer coins are rare. This
Plus-graded Gem exhibits well-detailed design elements, with just a
touch of softness around the peripheries, and dramatic clash marks
on both sides. Attractive shades of pale gold toning enhance the
well-preserved surfaces, with vibrant mint luster underneath.
