1877-CC $5 XF45 NGC. Variety 1-B. This moderately circulated piece shows a decent strike on both sides, and there are no relevant abrasions for a gold coin from the rough-and-tumble 1870s West with 15 points of wear. The apricot-gold surfaces are well defined and display hints of luster. Rare in all grades. Census: 19 in 45, 31 finer (6/13).
