1878 1C MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Rare in Gem Uncirculated condition, the 1878 is an extremely challenging issue at the Premium Gem and no pieces are certified numerically finer than the MS66 grade level. This lustrous, fire-orange example displays faint brownish-tan overtones at its high points to account for the Red and Brown designation. The strike is razor-sharp, and CAC endorsement bespeaks its overall quality. Population: 16 in 66 Red and Brown, 0 finer.
