Description

1872-CC Seated Dollar, XF40
Excellent Color and Detail

1872-CC $1 XF40 PCGS. CAC. The 1872-CC Seated dollar is well-known as an elusive, semikey issue in the series, but if one focuses their search on only uncleaned, original examples with decent eye appeal, this Carson City issue becomes a great rarity. The present coin is incredible in this regard, showing excellent steel-gray color and slight, even wear over the high points of the design, leaving significant detail in the motifs. An outstanding collector coin.(Registry values: N2998)
