Description

1858 Ten Dollar, Very Fine
Well-Known Philadelphia Rarity

1858 $10 VF20 PCGS. The meager mintage of 2,521 pieces is less than half that of the famous 1870-CC, and has long made the 1858 a desirable date among No Motto devotees. The present example has XF sharpness and displays glimpses of luster, though the orange and aqua surfaces are mildly bright and glossy, and we note field abrasions near stars 10 and 13. Housed in an old green label holder.
