1804 1/2 C Plain 4, No Stems, C-13, B-10, R.1, MS63 Brown PCGS. Manley Die State 2. Although this is the common 1804 variety, and one of the two most plentiful Draped Bust half cent varieties, the 1804 Plain 4, No Stems is seldom encountered in higher grades. This glossy and lustrous chestnut and chocolate-brown example has a few splashes of lighter tan. Flowlines in the fields accompany the later die state. Our EAC grade MS60.
