1840 H10C Drapery MS63 NGC. V-7. Both the obverse and reverse design show significant alterations including drapery added to Liberty's arm and larger, thicker numerals and reverse lettering. Warm-gray toning shows brief splashes of deep-gray patina while pale-gold luster glows throughout both sides. A sharp strike on the design elements accompanies semireflective fields on this Select Uncirculated example. Census: 12 in 63, 31 finer (1/24).(Registry values: N991)
