French Colony bronze Proof Essai Pattern Centime 1879-A PR65 Red NGC, Paris mint, KM-Unl., Lec-11. A famed and notoriously difficult Essai from the fleeting Cochin China series, here preserved at a deserving Gem status. With so few of these to ever reach market, we anticipate this fully red specimen to dazzle when crossing the auction block.
