1896-O $1 MS63 PCGS. CAC. The 1896-O is elusive despite a
mintage of 4.9 million coins. Significant quantities were released
into circulation at the time of issue, and further pieces were
likely melted after the 1918 Pittman Act. This Select example
displays brilliant luster with minimal abrasions, prompting CAC
endorsement. PCGS reports only 35 numerically finer non-Prooflike
