People's Republic gold Proof Scalloped "Year of the Sheep" 10000 Yuan (1 Kilo) 2015, Shanghai mint, KM-Unl., CC-2008. 100mm. Mintage: 118. Lunar series. Struck in commemoration of the Year of the Sheep/Goat, this superb 1-kilogram offering, produced in 99.9% pure gold, features a scalloped edge design, with a sheep prominently displayed to the obverse. Luxurious golden frost decorates the raised features, yielding a velveteen character that proves delightfully charming against a backdrop of boundless golden reflectivity in the fields. Housed in the original mint capsule and numbered "0116" at the bottom edge, this modern gold issue is accompanied by its original and identically numbered mint COA and case of issue. AGW 32.15 oz.
