Republic bronze Uniface Obverse Trial Strike 2 Centavos 1883 MS64 Red and Brown NGC, Mexico City mint, KM-TS10, cf. Buttrey/Hubbard-pg. 248. A very rare mint trial, and the sister piece to the following lot, with apparently only one other obverse-reverse pair having come to auction in recent memory. Admitting essentially unblemished surfaces, that have taken on an indigo color, pairing nicely with fiery cupric-red highlights along the raised features.Ex.
