Description
1914-S Saint-Gaudens Twenty, MS66
Extremely Rare Any Finer
1914-S $20 MS66 PCGS. Scintillating orange highlights
glisten from the richly frosted, sun-gold surfaces of this Premium
Gem double eagle. As expected for the 1914-S at the MS66 level, the
strike is extra-sharp and eye appeal is exceptional. The lack of
marks or abrasions verifies the high technical grade. The 1914-S
survives in large quantity, yet the finest examples reported by
PCGS are just a notch finer than this coin, with nine pieces
grading 66+ and none finer (9/25).Ex: Dallas Signature (Heritage, 7/2006), lot 2035; Dallas Signature (Heritage, 11/2023), lot 3238.(Registry values: N2998)
