Bright, Frosted Mint Luster
1917-D 25C Type Two MS65 Full Head NGC. CAC. Unlike some
Full Head examples of this scarcer second-year issue, this piece is
well-struck in all areas of the design. The surfaces exhibit
bright, frosted mint luster and the centers are brilliant with a
light accent of golden-russet toning around the margins. Census: 30
in 65 (1 in 65+) Full Head, 5 finer. CAC: 10 in 65, 7 finer
(7/19).Ex: ANA Signature (Heritage, 8/1996), lot 7154.
