Description

1923-S Quarter, MS64 Full Head
Green Label Holder

1923-S 25C MS64 Full Head PCGS. The 1923-S is a curious issue in the Standing Liberty quarter series -- a sought-after semikey but also relatively available, even in Mint State. The challenge for advanced collectors comes in finding a piece with good eye appeal, as the vast majority of known examples lack good aesthetics compared to a lot of other dates in the series. This Choice Full Head coin will appeal to many collectors. Satiny, champagne-tinged surfaces lack serious abrasions, and the ridge of Liberty's leg is devoid of major marks. Liberty's temple is sharp, while strike weakness on the eagle's breast is not bothersome. Housed in a green label holder.(Registry values: N1793)
