Description

1918/7-D Buffalo Nickel, VF20
CAC Approved

1918/7-D 5C FS-101 VF20 PCGS. CAC. The 1918/7-D is one of three major Guide Book varieties in the Buffalo nickel series -- the others being the 1916 doubled die and 1937-D three-legged -- which collectively make up the biggest key issues for the Guide Book collection. The rarest of the three varieties is the 1916 doubled die, but the 1918/7-D is the second scarcest. This collectible VF example displays stone-gray patina with moderate wear. The CAC label adds to the appeal.
