Description
1893-S Morgan Dollar, VF Details
Low-Mintage Branch Mint Key
1893-S $1 -- Cleaned -- PCGS Genuine. VF Details. The San
Francisco Mint struck only 100,000 Morgan dollars in 1893, posting
the lowest annual production in the series for any mint (excluding
the proof-only 1895 Philadelphia issue). Examples are sought after
in all grades. Minor abrasions are blended from wear and are
consistent with the grade. Although lightly cleaned, this piece
displays pleasing detail and stone-gray surfaces that feature light
mottles of caramel and sea-blue toning around the
periphery.(Registry values: P10, N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 255U, PCGS# 7226, Greysheet# 7614)
