Description
1830 Large 0 Half Dollar, MS64
O-123, Attractively Toned
1830 50C Large 0, O-123, R.1, MS64 PCGS. Vibrant original
luster rolls across the toned surfaces of this near-Gem Large 0
half dollar, complementing hues of green, gold, and lilac. The
border stars are better defined than usual, and the central devices
show sharp detail. Light contact marks on Liberty's portrait are
all that prevent a finer grade. Overton-123 is one of four Large 0
varieties of the 1830 half dollar. A key attribution aid are
extensions of the horizontal shield lines in the eagle's right
(facing) wing.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24FU, Variety PCGS# 39834, Base PCGS# 6157, Greysheet# 194385)
