Description
1854 50C Arrows, WB-101, MS64 NGC. The mintage of nearly 3 million pieces suggests a high population in all grades, but the 1854 Arrows is scarce in near-Gem or finer conditions. This richly toned MS64 displays reddish-gold luster beneath bluish-brown toning. Numerous obverse die cracks suggest a late die state, although the stars are sharp and Liberty's hair strands are bold. Struck from clashed dies. Census: 33 in 64, 12 finer (7/19).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 572087, Base PCGS# 6279)
