Description

1807 1/2 C AU58 NGC. C-1, B-1, R.1. Unlike the 1806 or 1808 half cents, the 1807 comes from a single die pair. This mahogany-toned example shows only minor friction on the highpoints, and the central devices show solid detail. The coin's overall appearance is consistent with Die State III, with little dentilation on the obverse and weakened letters in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. EAC 45.(Registry values: P5)

Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1104, Greysheet# 504)
