Description

1954-D 1C MS67+ Red PCGS. Lincoln cents manufactured at the Denver Mint in 1954 can still be found with little searching through MS67 Red. However, an elite group enjoy the added Plus designation from PCGS. In fact, this is one of 11 such pieces at that service, and none are graded higher (4/19). A strong strike and light copper-orange color define each side. The PL in PLURIBUS and the O in ONE are minutely soft. A carbon fleck under the I in LIBERTY identifies this particular Superb Gem.
