Description
1807 Draped Bust Half, AU53, O-110a
Deep, Variegated Toning; Late Die State
1807 50C Draped Bust, O-110a, T-3, R.2, AU53 PCGS. Tompkins
Die State 3/4. Deep powder-blue, autumn-brown, and plum-mauve
toning envelops this lightly abraded, late die state half. The
centers show slight wear, but luster glistens from the legends and
devices. Both sides display several peripheral spindly die cracks,
and the reverse is noticeably clashed at the top. The coin is
prooflike at the margins.Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 9/2004), lot 6582; Summer FUN Signature (Heritage, 6/2008), lot 971; Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2009), lot 1260); ANA Signature (Heritage, 8/2010), lot 4830; FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2011), lot 3571.
