XF40 PCGS. Bowers Die State I. This moderately available
variety lacks the reverse die cracks that indicate a later die
stage. Points of wear show light-gray areas surrounded by
gunmetal-gray toning elsewhere on the coin. Numerous adjustment
marks crisscross the the shield but stop before reaching the outer
reverse legends. The obverse fields are smooth and attractive,
