1890 Seated Half Dollar, MS67
Beautifully Toned, CAC Endorsed

1890 50C WB-101 MS67 PCGS. CAC. A decade of low-mintage half dollar production culminates with this penultimate Seated half issue. Only 12,000 circulation strikes were made plus 590 proofs. Accordingly, the 1890 half dollar is elusive in all grades and it is notably rare at the highest Mint State levels. This Superb Gem example displays a pinpoint sharp strike and vivid multicolor toning exists over the virtually mark-free surfaces. Magnification reveals a tiny, three-pronged reeding mark in the upper-right field and a few light contacts on Liberty's shin. Otherwise, the surfaces are remarkably well-preserved and free of even the slightest disturbances. Areas of reflectivity exist beneath the colorful patina, revealing vibrant blue and orange-gold colors mixed with sea-green and heather-gray hues. CAC endorsement confirms this coin's high-end surface quality and eye appeal. PCGS Population: 6 in 67 (1 in 67+), 2 finer. CAC: 3 in 67, 0 finer (10/25).
