Rare 1853-O No Arrows Half Dime, XF40

1853-O H10C No Arrows XF40 PCGS. The pleasing and problem-free surfaces are evenly colored in calm blue and pink tones. The New Orleans Mint delivered just 160,000 No Arrows half dimes in 1853, most of which were most likely melted in the aftermath of the February 21 Mint Act. This makes the '53-O both an absolute and a condition rarity. Population: 3 in 40, 11 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N1793)
