Description

1823 Bust Half, MS63
O-111a, Attractive Light Toning

1823 50C O-111a, R.2, MS63 PCGS. A lustrous and smooth Select Uncirculated coin, this late die state example is razor-sharp with great eye appeal. Gold-to-orange peripheral toning is more intense on the reverse with attractive blue accents at the rims. Struck from the more available later die state with a die crack through first four stars. Only small, scattered marks are visible with a lens. A die dot in the top of T in LIBERTY confirms the variety.
