Description
1914 Half Eagle, MS64
Attractive Luster
1914 $5 MS64 PCGS. Frosty luster on orange-gold surfaces are
accented with hues of light olive and lilac on this attractive
Choice Uncirculated five dollar gold piece. The well-struck devices
are limited to a few small ticks on the Chieftains cheek, with the
fields only showing light and grade-consistent marks. The cartwheel
effect produced is vibrantly colorful, and overall eye appeal is
fabulous. The issue is plentiful through Choice condition, but the
numbers drop drastically in Gem and PCGS shows only three pieces in
MS66 (8/25).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DU, PCGS# 8527, Greysheet# 9314)
