Description

1912-D Lincoln Cent, MS66 Red
Attractive High-End Semikey Date

1912-D 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The 1912-D Lincoln cent is moderately scarce in all grades, and in Red it becomes challenging in Gem and rare any finer. This Red Premium Gem displays lustrous copper-red and orange surfaces with only a few tiny carbon specks and grade-consistent abrasions. The center devices are well-struck, while the periphery shows slight softness typical of the 1912-D. PCGS reports 16 Plus-graded Premium Gems, but shows only one numerically finer example in MS67 (12/25).(Registry values: N2998)
