Description

1873 T$1 PR62 Cameo PCGS. The Trade dollar was introduced in 1873, and a nominal proof mintage of 865 pieces was accomplished. This attractive specimen is sharply detailed on the obverse, but a touch of the typical softness shows on the eagle's leg on the reverse. The design elements are richly frosted and show bold cameo contrast with the mirrored fields. A few minor hairlines explain the grade. Population: 17 in 62 Cameo, 37 finer (7/19).
