Beautifully Toned CAC Coin
1881 T$1 PR64 PCGS. CAC. The 1881 proof is a popular type
coin issue, and examples are often available in just about any
non-Cameo grade desired. However, CAC-approved pieces are rare, and
the toning schemes on some coins are uniquely attractive,
separating those pieces from the majority. This near-Gem CAC coin
is indeed attractively toned. Mirrored fields backlight golden
interiors with peach-orange, violet, and blue around the borders.
Both Liberty and the eagle are sharp. CAC: 12 in 64, 19 finer
