Low-Mintage Civil War Issue
1864 $1 AU58 PCGS. OC-1, R.2. A Civil War date with a low
mintage of 30,700 pieces. The PCGS Population Report shows at least
one example in each grade between AG3 and MS66, but most are VF to
AU. The present near-Mint example is untoned and well struck.
Careful inspection reveals a number of thin marks. Certified in a
