1652 Pine Tree Sixpence, XF40
Pellets at Trunk, Salmon 2-B
1652 Pine Tree Sixpence, Pellets at Trunk, Noe-33, W-670, Salmon
2-B, R.3, XF40 PCGS. 27.8 grains. Although there are numerous
Pine Tree shilling die varieties, it is a different story for the
sixpence denomination. There are only two or three varieties,
depending upon whether one collects W-670 both with (Noe-33a) and
without (Noe-33) a well-centered obverse. Noe-33 is more often seen
than Noe-33a, and is distinguished by an obverse misalignment
toward 12 o'clock. This silver-gray representative has attractive
surfaces and good eye appeal. Listed on page 9 of the 2026 Guide
