Description

1912-D Half Dollar, MS66
Among the Finest Certified, Ex: Gardner

1912-D 50C MS66 PCGS. CAC. The 1912-D (2.3 million coins struck) is known as a common issue in lesser grades. However, examples are rarely found at this lofty level. This lustrous high-grade Barber type coin in Premium Gem grade displays vibrant luster and dappled orange-gold, forest-green, and stone-gray toning. The cheekbone shows a few light russet freckles, and the surfaces are pristine, aside for a single wispy graze on Liberty's neck. Population: 16 in 66 (2 in 66+), 1 finer. CAC: 12 in 66, 0 finer (5/16).
