1906-D Quarter Dollar, MS66+
Original Toning, Frosty Luster
1906-D 25C MS66+ PCGS. The 1906-D Barber quarter is rare in
MS66. PCGS and NGC combined report only 13 coins at the Premium Gem
level, a dozen of which are PCGS-certified. Three MS67 PCGS coins
are finer (11/19). This piece displays warm golden toning in the
centers, ceding to powder-blue, lilac, and pale rose hues around
the borders. The strike is sharp, and both sides are devoid of
mentionable abrasions. Population: 12 in 66 (5 in 66+), 3 finer
