Description

1913 Barber Quarter, PR67 Cameo
Only 613 Pieces Minted

1913 25C PR67 Cameo NGC. Only 613 proof Barber quarters were struck in 1913, to accompany a low mintage of 484,000 business-strike examples. Spectacularly patinated in shades of green, golden-brown, and violet, this coin nonetheless displays profound cameo contrast. The design elements are sharply rendered, except for a touch of softness on the right (facing) talon, and the fields are deeply reflective under the toning. Census: 9 in 67 Cameo, 4 finer (9/11).(Registry values: N2998)
