Sharply Struck MS62 1855 Gold Dollar
1855 G$1 MS62 NGC. A bright yellow-gold example of this popular Type Two Indian Head gold dollar. A sharp strike is seen on the design elements, though the Indian's hair and the 8 in the date display the usual softness. A few minute handling marks on each side determine the grade, and a reverse clash mark reveals the outline of the Indian's head.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25C4, PCGS# 7532, Greysheet# 8016)
