MS65 Red, Early Branch Issue
1916-D 1C MS65 Red PCGS. This razor-sharp Gem features
potent luster and radiant pumpkin-gold color. A lens locates only a
hair-thin vertical streak near the E in CENT and a small area of
dappled lilac on the upper left obverse field. A five-figure coin
in the next higher grade. Population: 41 in 65 (1 in 65+) Red, 4
finer (6/12).Ex: Atlanta ANA (Heritage, 4/2006), lot 131, which realized $3,220.(Registry values: N2998)
