Description

1877 10C Type Two Reverse, F-101, R.4, PR66 PCGS. CAC. The 1877 is plentiful as a business strike, due a mintage of more than 7,000,000 pieces. But only 510 proofs were produced, and survivors are scarce. This high grade specimen is originally toned forest-green and cream-gray. The strike is good, though shy of complete on the upper left portion of the wreath. Encapsulated in an old green label holder. Population: 12 in 66, 0 finer. CAC: 10 in 66, 0 finer (9/19).
