Description

1832 Half Dime, MS66
High-End V-2, LM-12 Example

1832 H10C V-2, LM-12, R.2, MS66 PCGS. Mint State examples of the Capped Bust half dime type are moderately available, including representatives of the 1832 issue. Nonetheless, this date is scarce in MS66 and rarely seen finer. The present coin displays dappled multicolor toning over champagne luster with no mentionable abrasions. Trivial strike weakness is observed on the central hair curls and shield stripes, as usual. Eye appeal is pleasing. Population (all varieties included): 42 in 66, 11 finer (11/15).
