1829 50C Small Letters AU58 PCGS. O-116, High R.3. A mint-made spike from the left scroll end attributes the variety, although Dr. Glenn Peterson uses other diagnostics in his useful guide to the Capped Bust series. Light honey-gold toning visits this satiny and minimally abraded near-Mint half dollar. Well struck except near the junction of the left (facing) wing.(Registry values: N491)
