Description

1868-S Twenty Dollar, Frosty MS61
Excellent Quality for the Grade

1868-S $20 MS61 PCGS. CAC. Small squat S. Frosty mint luster shines around all the relief elements but especially the borders of this Uncirculated 1868-S double eagle. The centers exhibit good detail for a Type Two twenty, and abrasions are surprisingly minimal for an MS61. The CAC approval sticker for quality within the grade is certainly well-deserved. Population: 37 in 61, 11 finer. CAC: 13 in 61, 2 finer (10/21).
