Type Two, Brilliant Finish
1936 5C Type Two -- Brilliant Finish PR67 PCGS. Chromelike
reflectivity exists throughout both the obverse and the reverse on
this Superb Gem Brilliant Finish proof. The strike is needle-sharp
as expected at this high grade level. Ice-blue toning and a hints
of gold add to the eye appeal for this flashy-mirrored 1936 proof
-- one of the later brilliant proof strikes from 4,420 total proofs
struck for the year. PCGS reports only 25 numerically finer Type
Two proofs plus 58 in PR67+ as of (12/25).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 278Y, PCGS# 3995, Greysheet# 3156)
