1842 Dollar, Brilliant MS62
No Motto Type Representative
1842 $1 MS62 PCGS. The 1842 Seated dollar was struck to the
extent of 184,618 coins. Examples are scarcely seen in mint
condition, but they are obtainable with a little patience through
MS63. This brilliant MS62 dollar is well-struck with good detail on
the stars and head. The eagle's wingtips and left (facing) leg
feathers are incomplete. Brightly frosted with minor scattered
marks. A nice Uncirculated No Motto type coin.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24YC, PCGS# 6928, Greysheet# 7192)
