Louis XIV gold Louis d'Or 1669-A AU55 NGC, Paris mint, KM219.1, cf. Gad-247 (date unlisted). A fine nearly uncirculated example exhibiting an attractively rendered middle-aged bust of the renowned "Sun King". Lustrous and visually captivating with only the lightest instances of handling, considering any time spent in circulation. Interestingly this date is not listed by Gadoury under the relevant bust type.From the Morris Collection
