C. M. Schwarz Leipzig Advertising Token - 50 Cents - 1/2 Shilling 1937-H AU55 NGC Heaton mint. Obv. EAST AFRICA - FIFTY CENTS - HALF SHILLING, Lion walking right before mountains. Rev. C. M. SCHWARZ. GmbH. LEIPZIG. W. 33 in a circle. Apparently a scarce token, made by mating the standard reverse die from the circulating East African 50 cents of 1937 with a simplistic merchant die; we can find no other records of this type appearing at auction in at least a decade. Ideal for the advanced collector of East African coins.Metal: Silver
