1908-S Indian Cent, MS66 Red
Scarce Semikey Issue
1908-S 1C MS66 Red PCGS. First of only two branch mint
issues in the Indian cent series. Circulated examples can be
located of the 1908-S, but high grade pieces with full mint red are
rarely encountered. This is a remarkably strong strike for the
issue with only the slightest softness apparent on the tips of the
feathers in the headdress. The surfaces are lovely with bright
orange and red mint luster. Population: 49 in 66 (1 in 66+) Red, 1
finer (5/16).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2296, PCGS# 2234, Greysheet# 1463)
