1940 5C Reverse of 1938, FS-901, PR67 NGC. CAC. Only a small number of proof 1940 nickels was struck with the wavy steps reverse of 1938. This Superb Gem example is high-end and cast in silvery-blue and lavender-gold toning. The strike is full, and we observe no contact marks. Census: 14 in 67, 1 finer.
