1961 Franklin Half Dollar, MS66+
Registry Grade Full Bell Lines Example

1961 50C MS66+ Full Bell Lines PCGS. CAC. At one time halves from the early 1960s were considered common and little thought was given to them. Then the Franklin half market began to develop in earnest, and these "common" coins were found to be anything but common in high grade and with Full Bell Lines. The present coin is a Plus-graded Premium Gem, with sharply detailed design elements and full definition on the bell lines. The virtually pristine, brilliant surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster throughout. Overall eye appeal is terrific. Population: 22 in 66 (3 in 66+) Full Bell Lines, 0 finer. CAC: 5 in 66, 0 finer (3/19).(Registry values: N4719)
