Description
Desirable Fine 1795/1795 Half, O-111
Only Marriage With Three Leaves Reverse
1795/1795 50C Three Leaves, O-111, High R.4 Fine 15 PCGS.
Perhaps the most famous 1795 die marriage, since the obverse
features a widely repunched date and the reverse has three leaves
(instead of the usual two) beneath each wing. O-111 also has an
interesting heavy die break on the reverse from 10 o'clock to the
center. This lavender-gray example is pleasing for the grade
despite a solitary thin line across star 1. Housed in an old green
label holder.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 6053, Greysheet# 6120)
Weight: 13.48 grams
Metal: 89.24% Silver, 10.76% Copper
